With heavy hearts and profound love, we celebrate the life of *Brenda Lee Winder*, affectionately known as “Suga Foot,” a courageous, radiant spirit and devoted mother of four. On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 12:09 p.m., Brenda peacefully transitioned from this world into the arms of her Heavenly Father. In a beautiful twist of fate, this sacred day also marks the birthday of her eldest sister—a divine reminder that love and legacy are forever intertwined. Born on August 11, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois, to Edward Earl Williams and Everlina Winder, Brenda was a beacon of warmth and generosity from the very beginning. She attended Peoria Manual High School and later found her calling in the medical field, dedicating years of compassionate service as a Direct Support Professional with Trinity Services INC. and providing private care through Addus. Her work was more than a job—it was an extension of her nurturing heart. Brenda accepted Christ at a young age. Her faith, like her love, was unwavering. She was known for her vibrant personality, her love of shopping and cooking, and her signature color—hunter green. Brenda’s home was a sanctuary of comfort and laughter, where everyone was welcomed and no one left hungry. Her favorite sayings—“Ugh! Ugh! I’m cheap, that’s a lie,” and “I don’t know her”—captured her humor and sass, while her favorite artists, Mary J. Blige and Fantasia, provided the soundtrack to her joyful, drama-free gatherings. Brenda’s greatest pride was her family. She was the loving mother of four beautiful children: Breanna Gore (1990), Brittni Gore (1993), Breon Gore (2000), and Bri’asia Davis (2013). She was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren, with another grandson on the way. Brenda leaves behind a legacy of love through her mother, Everlina Winder; her sisters, Mary Wilcox, Linda Winder, and Jamie Winder; her devoted partner of 15 years, Cecil “Fee” Davis; her beloved dog, Brownie; Her love extended beyond her immediate family to a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who became family. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Earl Williams. Brenda Lee Winder was a light in every room, a source of strength and laughter, and a woman whose love knew no bounds. Though she left us too soon, she gifted us a lifetime of memories that will echo in our hearts forever. Brenda Winder’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel At 11:00 a.m. with visitation commencing one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Alvin Riley Sr. will present the Eulogy. ` Arrangements were made especially for the “Winder” family and professionally directed by T.W.
