Mr. Eric S. MacNeary

Eric “Stevie” MacNeary, 66, of Peoria, departed this life on Thursday, May 30, 2024, peacefully at OSF St. Francis ER. Eric was born on March 3, 1958, in Peoria, IL. He married the love of his life, Ozell Cagle, on March 3, 2001, in Peoria, IL. Their union was 23 years strong. Eric was a member of over 25 years at the Church of the Living God of Peoria where he provided janitorial services and acted as the video coordinator. He later became a busy and active member at Love and Kindness Ministries, COGIC. Eric was employed in construction, the railroad, and factories. He was proceeded in death by his father, Henry Moore; mother, Della Foster-Moore; one brother Anthony Foster, and one nephew Anthony “Bobo” Foster Jr. along with numerous aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends. Eric leaves to cherish his most precious memories his son: Eric Davis of Peoria; daughter: Syltrina Davis of Houston, TX, three brothers: Rodney McNeary, Gregory MacNeary, both of Peoria, and Stanley Davis of Sacramento, CA; one sister: Robin (Lonzo) Jackson of Olive Branch, MS; stepchildren: Edward (Tracy) Cagle, Jr., Jenifer (Marcus) Langhorn both of Houston, TX and Joy Cagle of Peoria; grandchildren: Christal Davis, Dennis Bailey, Imani Means, his cousin and his best friend; Jimmy Jones and a host of family, friends and associates who will miss him dearly. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Love and Kindness Ministries, COGIC, 603 W. Nebraska in Peoria, IL. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. with the service following at 10:00 a.m. Pastor F. Michael Watson will host and present the Eulogy. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at Love and Kindness Ministries. Arrangements were made especially for the “MacNeary” family and professionally directed by T.W.
