Mr. John Allison Jr.

John Lee Allison Jr, a.k.a “Dugee” 50, of Laselle, departed this life on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center at 1:12 p.m. John was born on December 28, 1972, in Chicago, IL to John Allison Sr. and Juliette Drain, they survive. John graduated from Peoria Manual Highschool. He then went into the music and entertainment industry where he became a singer, songwriter, producer, and dancer. Writing and Producing songs for “Most Hated Entertainment” and several other groups and solo artists. He was a dance performer with the “Guess Boyz”, who he loved dearly. The Chicago Sports teams where his passion, especially the Chicago Bears. He had a loving kind heart, that drew lots of laughter to those around him. John was all about his family especially his grandchildren. He was a great support system to his family and friends; All-is-on! John leaves to cherish his precious memory: his parents; John Allison Sr. of Chicago, IL and Juliette Drain of Peoria, IL; a significant companion: Michelle Szewczyk; two sons: John Allison III of Marietta, GA and Brandon Armstrong of Peoria; four stepsons: Eric Walters , Michael Szewczyk Jr, Edward Szewczyk, and Jovanni Szewczyk all of Peoria; one daughter: C’Nytra (Kristian) Williams of Acworth, GA; one step daughter: Jennafer Szewczyk; five brothers: Jermine (Tracie) Allison of Peoria, IL, Christopher Strickland of Rapid City, IA, Jasper Allison of Lasalle, IL, Jarvis (Kelaya Morton) Allison of Peoria, and Antonio (Donna) Hopskins of Minneapolis, MN: brothers in love: Guess boyz; five sisters: Jewel (Joshua) Williams of Glen Heights, TX, Jasmine Williams of Chicago, IL, Jontasia Thompson of Highland Park, IL, Jasmine Anderson of Peoria, and Chemera Thompson, of Bloomington, IL: Beloved Ex-wife: Chia (Christopher) Freeman-Neal: five grandchildren, and a host nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023, at T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with visitation commencing at 11:00 a.m. Elder James Taylor will officiate.
