Ms. Patricia A. Bowel

Patricia “Tricia” Bowel, 55 of Peoria, IL departed this life Sunday, November 20, 2022, at her sister’s home while on hospice. She was born July 1, 1967, in Peoria, IL to late John and Carrine Bowel. Tricia was last employed at Help at Home as a homecare aide and caring for her grandchildren until she became ill and couldn’t work. Tricia was a friendly person and loved keeping everybody laughing. Some of her favorite quotes are, “I got three types of games I like to play” ... “No Deal”, “That’s too Much” and “That’s the Number One Answer.” She also enjoyed being with her family especially her grandkids; listen to music, dancing (being the life of the party), feeding others, best camera person every, love playing spades and riding her bike. Tricia was a faithful member at the Church of the Living God, L.B.L.C. #1, under the leadership of Bishop Kevin T. Hill. Tricia leaves to cherish her memories to her two children, Son: Demarco Bowel Daughter: LaBrika Butler, (4) Grandchildren: Ayanna Bowel, Londyn Ross, Ky’Aire and Ky’Rie Alexander, her loving Mother: Carrine Bowel, (4) Sisters: Linda Thomas, Ruthie Griffin-Walls, Junice (Charles) Jackson, and Barbara (Bobbie) Bowel, (3) Brothers: Johnny (Louise) Griffin, Michael (Mike) Bowel, and Calvin Campbell all of Peoria, IL. And host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly. The family wishes to also acknowledge one special cousin Janice (Jan) Lyles and (6) special long-life friends; Ms. Georgia Smolley, Catina Jones, Phyllis King, Tamon Wade, Saprella Burnside, and Montgomery (Blake) Irby. Trica was preceded in death by her father, John E. Bowel, grandparents: Rosie Venson, Ruthie Mae Logan, John Bower and Willie Lowe Jr, one brother; Lawerence (Skutt) Bowel; two special friends: David (Duke) Tate and Jaqueline (Lynn) McDonald. A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Church of the Living God L.B.LC. #5 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation commencing one hour prior at 9:30 a.m. Bishop Kevin Hill will officiate. Tricia will be laid to rest at Parkview.
