Ms. Annie Mae Pollard Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Annie Mae Pollard, 87, departed this life on July 14, 2022, at her home. She was born in Deeson, Mississippi to the beloved Viola Moore and David Harris, who preceded her in death. Annie Mae married the love of her life Reverend William Pollard in 1953, who preceded her in death in 1999. In this 25-year union, they were blessed with 5 children. Annie Mae was baptized at St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church in Lamont, MS, where she gave her life to Christ at an early age. She worked at Louie & Rosie Manufacturing for 40+ years prior to her retiring. Annie Mae moved to Peoria, IL in 2005 where she joined New Mt. Sinai Missionary Church under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Cherry. She was a faithful member who served on the Motherboard. Annie Mae was a humble God-fearing woman who loved God with her whole heart. Her favorite song that she would sing was Get right church. Annie leaves her loving memories to four children: Freddie (Willie) Davis, Hurdestine (Calvin) Pettitt, both of Peoria, IL, Anthony (Mary) Pollard of New Braunfels, TX, Alphonso (Rachel) Pollard Sr. of Lancaster, TX. Five siblings: Lonnie (Jessielean) Johnson and Elder Spence Davis, both of Chicago, IL, Chester Gardner, Marrietta Jones, Ozzie Moore, all of Peoria IL. She also leaves her remembrances to two bonus daughters, Danielle Pollard of Inglewood, CA and Nakia Jackson of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, 32 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Annie was preceded in death by one son: Eddie Pollard of Inglewood, CA, six siblings: Vera Moore, John Moore, Thomas Crutchfield, Frank Lloyd, Michael Harris and Carl Moore. She was loved by so many and will truly be missed. A home-going celebration will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Church of the Living God Temple #5 with visitation commencing at 9 a.m. Pastor Patrick Pollard will officiate. Interment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements were made especially for the Pollard family and professionally directed by T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel.
