Mr. Anthony "Ray" Little Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. ANTHONY ‘’RAY’’ LITTLE, 64, departed this life at 4:59 a.m. on January 31, 2022, at 4:59 a.m., at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, in Peoria, IL. He was born June 21, 1957, in Peoria, IL. Ray was born to John Irby Sr. and Frankie Mae Little, whom both preceded him in death. Ray was the oldest of fifteen children. During his childhood days, he looked forward to Monday Night Skating Parties with his dad and family at Fernwood Roller Rink. He was a great skater who also worked as rink security guard like his father. He was a member of Rising Sun Christian Church. Ray attended Peoria Public Schools and later listed into to the Army. He had a special love for cars and enjoyed detailing them for others. He loved fashionwear for men and there were not many times you would see him in the same clothing twice. On February 11, 2010, he married Belinda Spencer in Peoria, IL who will forever cherish his loving memory as Mrs. Belinda Spencer-Little. He also leaves his remembrance to three sons: Tony Stuckey, Tyrone Brown, and De’Marco Spencer. Five daughters: Danielle Matthews, Lakisha Butler, Precious (Kenneth) Ugbo, Latasha Spencer, and Shanika Spencer. Six brothers: Kevin (Robyn) Little, John Irby Jr, Dennis Irby, Gary Irby, Brian (LaShawn) Irby and Byron Irby. Six sisters: Victoria Nealy, Debra McCall, Renay Mabry, Brenda Irby, Ivy Irby and Latonya Irby. Ray also leaves his memory to a special grand daughter Denitria “WHOM HE LOVED DEARLY!” along with twenty-eight grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ray is also preceded in death two brothers: Eddie Joe Little and Anthony Irby, three grandchildren, his special mother Bessie McClain-Irby, and mother-in-law Bessie Woods. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday,February 12, 2022, at 11:00am at Rising Sun Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior at 10:00 am. Pastor Gibson will deliver the Eulogy.
