Brenda M. Grant 63 of Peoria passed away Tuesday May 7, 2013 at 8:22 a.m. at her residence. She was born August 3, 1949 in St. Louis MO, to Arthur Lee Stewart and Catherine V. Temple. She leaves to cherish his precious memories: 2 sons: William Jr. and Darick (Juanita) Grant both of Peoria, 2 daughters: Brenda M. Grant of Kansas City, KS, and Dora Grant of Peoria, Alfred, Thomas (Tara), and Everett (Toyna) Temple all of East St. Louis, MO, 3 sisters: Audrey, Marian, and Wyvette (Kendall) Temple all of East St. Louis, IL, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom loved and adored her. She was preceded in death by her parent, 1 grandson, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Services will be held Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation commencing one hour prior at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Pastor Richard Temple will officiate. Brenda will be laid to rest at the Parkview Cemetery. The family has chosen T.W.
