Ms Dorothy Nicole Walker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dorothy Nicole Walker, 41, of Peoria passed away accepting God's call at 10:35 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 17, 1973, in Peoria to the Jessie Page and Shirley Walker. Dorothy is survived by her parents, Jessie Page and Shirley Walker, both of Peoria; two children, Karrington and Arnisha Walker, both of Peoria; two brothers, Rodman Walker of Phoenix, Ariz., and Neshae Walker of Peoria; one sister, Luwana Walker of Minnesota, Minn.; grandson, Andre'zj Walker of Peoria; along with a host of uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, who adored and will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by five aunts and one uncle. A home-going celebration will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015, at T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel, with visitation commencing one hour prior at 12 noon. Pastor Supt. Harvey Burnett will officiate. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial fund has been set up to help continue to pay for Dorothy's funeral arrangements at Member's Choice Credit Union, 3919 N. University. Proceeds will help pay off any remaining funeral expenses. Any additional funds will be put into a savings account for her grandson, Andre'zj. The family has entrusted T.W.
