Mr. Kenneth Ray Jones Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kenneth Ray Jones, affectionately known as “Pops” 62, departed this life on December 12, 2020 at 3:50 p.m. at his residence. Kenneth was born November 04, 1958 in Peoria, IL to David and Dorothy L. Jones Sr., they precede him. Pops attended Peoria Public Schools and Elyria, OH Public Schools where he played football and holds records to this day. Pops was a member of the United States Army for the term of four years. He married the love of his life Martha Jones on December 15, 1992 in Peoria; she survives. He loved cars and was a “Cadillac Man. Pops second passion was barbequing and could make the grill sing. Pops loved football and watching western movies. He was a very faith-based man. In addition to his loving wife: Martha Jones; he leaves to cherish his precious memory: six sons: Jeffrey Moore of Dallas, TX, Dan Parker, Arthur (Shannon) Parker, Willie Wells, Marques Wells, and Bryson Jones all of Peoria; six daughters: Raenisha Anderson, Kenyatta Jones both of Georgia, Cameron Block of Racine, WI, Cassandra Pace, and Dorothy Stokes both of Peoria; Pops also raised several of his grandchildren; Bryson Jones, Whitney Lewis, Shanice Pace, Shannara (Anthony) Hayes, Unique Stokes, Marcella Gordon, and the princess of his eye Royalty Stokes all of Peoria; four brothers: David (Darlene) Jones, Marcus Jones both of Peoria, Chinedy Amaefula Dallas,TX, and, Jeffrey Jones of California; six sisters: Shirley (Kimberly) Jones, Heidi (Tim) Davis, Dana (Shawn Hendrix) Bush, Felicia (Omeretires) Barnes, Damita Palmer, and Regina (Darryl) Murray; He also survived by his second mom Elaine Jones of Peoria; a host of grandchildren and great-grand children who will miss him dearly. In Addition to his loving parents, Pops was proceeded in death by Maternal and Paternal grandparents, four sisters, and two brothers. A drive-up visitation will take place Thursday, January 07, 2020 at T.W. Parks from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID- 19 mandates social distancing and mask are required. Interment is private
