Lendell “Slim” Moore 60, of Peoria IL, passed away at OSF medical center on Thursday November 14, 2013. He was born to the late Mr. Judson Moore Sr. and Fannie Lee Carter-Moore on August 14, 1953 in Forest City, AK. Lendell loved playing his guitar and watching sports, especially football; his favorite team was the Chicago Bears. He loved spending time with his loved ones including Darret Jackson his girlfriend’s son whom he grown to love as a son along with her other children. He Leaves to cherish his memories; A special friend of 31 years Emma Grady of Peoria IL., one daughter; K’Tosha Y. Moore of Peoria, seven brothers; C.L. Carter of Las Vegas, NV, M.L. (Joyce ) Moore of Charlotte, NC, Earl (Joyce) Moore of Crestview, FL, Lee Albert Moore of Memphis, TN, Leander (Gloria) Moore, Otha (Judith) Moore , Judson Moore all Of Chicago, IL. 4 sisters; Earnestine(Sam) Moore of San Antonio, TX, Fannie (Steve) Walker of Chicago, IL, Hertizen (Edward) Harris, Velma Hall both of Memphis, TN. 2 grandchildren: Malaky B. Hines and Aquantis L. Ward. Homegoing service will be November 23, 2013 at T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel at 201 N. Mac Arthur Hwy at 11:00 a.m. with visitation commencing one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Chuck Brown will officiate. Repass will be held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church at 603 W Nebraska st.
