Mrs Linda Gale Edwards-McGhee

Linda Gale Edwards-McGhee, 49, of Peoria passed away peaceful at her residence at 8:57 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014. She was born October 17, 1964, in Scott, Ms. to the late Willie Edwards and Velma Rodgers. She married her soul mate Harold McGhee Sr. He Survives. Linda love to play cards and do crossword puzzles. She loved to just sit and talk with family and friends. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband Harold McGhee of Peoria; two sons Harold (Cassandra) McGhee of Murphysboro, Ill. and Domenic McGhee of Peoria; two brothers Johnny Rodgers and Gregory Rodgers both of Peoria; three sisters Julia Rodgers of Greenville, MS., Cynthia Edwards of Peoria and Alothina Jackson of Cedar Rapids, IA., 3 grandchildren. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends whom loved and will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brother Vincent Edwards and Henry Rodgers. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Word of Faith Christian Center, with visitation commencing one hour prior at 11:00 a.m. Her son Lieutenant Harold McGhee Jr. will officiate with Bishop Davis serving as host. Linda will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were made especially for Linda’s family and professionally directed by T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel.
