Ms. Linda Harper Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Linda Harper, 64, of Peoria departed this life on Tuesday, June 07, 2022, at her residence at 9:50 p.m. She was born on February 03, 1958, in Friars Point, MS to the late Henry and Dorothy (Hampton) Harper. They precede her. Linda was a quiet and easy-going person, who enjoyed word searches and garage sales, but most of all she enjoyed time with her family. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Linda leaves to cherish her precious memory: two brothers: Henry Harper Jr. and Detrick (Angie) Harper both of Peoria; three sisters: Gloria Hampton, Denise (Earl) Harper-Jackson both of Peoria, and Sandra (Gregory) Harper-Dorsey of Dolton, IL; two aunts: Earlene Harper of St. Louis, MO and Mary Pointer of Chicago, IL; two best friends: Faye Taylor and Ida Lee of Peoria; one uncle: Charles Hampton of Friars Point, MS: She loved all her nieces and nephews like her own; and a host of family and friends whom will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband: Clifford Scott; Paternal and Maternal grandparents; one sister: Diane Harper. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel with visitation commencing one-hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Charles Johnson will officiate. Linda will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements were made especially for Linda’s family and professionally directed by T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel. Due to Covid-19, masks and social distancing are mandated.
