Mr. Quinton M. Scott Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Quinton Maurice Scott, Jr., 19, departed this life on July 4, 2022, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. He was born to Keisha Wells and Quinton Scott, Sr. on September 23, 2002. His mother preceded him in death. At the age of two, Quinton was raised and loved of by his grandmother & uncle, Calamity Green and Eldrick Wells. He was a talent of many things including basketball, fishing, carpentry, paint-balling, and enjoyed spending time at the Peoria Friendship House. His personal goal to have a better life was driven by leaving a legacy to all those who knew him. Quinton leaves his loving memories to two sisters: Alayah Scott and Keshana Irby, both of Peoria, one brother: Deondre (MacKenzie) Scott of Bartonville, two grandmothers: Calamity Green and Mary Forrest, both of Peoria, and grandfather: Eliot Wells of Forrest City, AR. He also leaves his remembrances to so many that loved him including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to Quinton’s mother, he was preceded in death by his brother: Kaden Scott, great-grandmother: Elnora Buford, and grandfather: Thurman Guyton. A home-going celebration will be held from 1:00pm – 3:00 pm Friday, July 15, 2022, at T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel. Arrangements were made especially for the Scott family and professionally directed by T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel. Online condolences and acknowledgments will be made at twparkschapel.com.
