Thomas L Foshaar

Thomas L. Foshaar, 67, entered Heaven’s gates passing away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 at 2:05 p.m. at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. He was born on March 24, 1948 in Terre Haute, IN to the late Robert L. Foshaar and Mary Agnes Hobdy. He was married to the love of his life Luella. She precedes him. Thomas loved the lord more than he loved himself; his favorite scriptures came from Isaiah 40. He was a member of Glad Tiding Assembly of God Church and the Riverside Community Church. Thomas enjoyed attending the Riverman Hockey and Chief games. He also loved to volunteer for the Red Cross and Salvation Army, something he had done for many, many years. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his two sons, Darren Foshaar and Daniel Foshaar; two daughters Patricia Foshaar and Michelle Foshaar all of Pekin, IL; two sisters Jenifer (Santiago) Zapata, of Peoria IL, and Teresa (Jackie) Arrowwod of Avon, IL. A special uncle and friend Bob Hobdy, who was always there when Thomas needed him. Along with a host of step children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends whom adored and will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Luella. Homegoing celebration will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Glad Tiding Assembly of God Church , with visitation commencing one hour prior at 10 a.m. Pastor Fred Doughty will officiate with Quest Pastor Bob Hobdy. Thomas interment will be at Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements were made especially for Thomas’ family and professionally directed by T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel.
